"I could use some food," Marendy said. "I feel like I haven't eaten in a while."

Selic led Marendy and Brella to the main hall, into the cafeteria. Selic went into the kitchen, then grumbled. "I forgot to clean up again... I can't run this place by myself..."
Brella peaked over the counter. "Need any help?"
"I couldn't ask you to help." Selic responded.

"Then don't ask," Marendy said. "Are you going to stop us if we decide to help anyway?" She gathered some dirty pots that were left all over the place and took them over to the sink to wash.

"I... uh... okay." Selic stuttered. He then walked over to clean off the counter.
Brella opened the freezer and stuck her head in. "You're out of ice!" she echoed.

"There should be lots of ice outside," Marendy said as she scrubbed the pots one at a time and place them off on the side when finished with them.

"Oh... heh heh." Brella said, pulling her head from the freezer. "Right. I'll go get it."
Brella then left the kitchen, leaving the freezer door open.
Selic looked over at the freezer, sighing. "Thanks for your help." he said to Marendy.

"Glad to help," Marendy said. "You said this was too much work for you to do alone."

Selic cleaned the rest of the counter off., then turned around, leaning against it. "It's a lot better to have people around here though." he said. "Before Julian came, the only people I had to talk to was traveling traders that would stop by, supplying me in exchange for blessings."

"No one else comes at all?" Marendy asked. "It must be lonely."

"A couple fellow priests I know drop by every few months." Selic said. "But I wouldn't count that as much company."
