Noel picked up a small bell on her stand and rang it once, then sat it down.

A moment later the door opened and a maid with glasses walked into the room. She looked at Noel and bowed. "You rang Prince?" she asked.

"Yes," Noel answered, putting her hands together and tilting her head to the side while smiling. "General Larentine needs help unpacking."

"I shall do it at once, Prince," The maid said. She walked over to the crates with Raej's stuff and quickly began to unpack them, placing everything on a nearby shelf that had been cleaned off.
"She's rather good at that," Raej commented.

"That is correct, Prince," the maid said as she continued unpacking. "After what happened the overlord thought it best to replace your servants."

"Perhaps," Raej replied as he walked over to a chair and sat down. "However, with my belongings yet to be fully unpacked, it does not feel as such."
"I apologize, General," The maid said, overhearing. "I am working as fast as I am able."

"No, take your time." Noel said. "Raej and I have a bit of catching up to do."
Noel then turned toward Raej. "So you were in Oroeth? How did that go?"

"At first there were no problems at all," Raej explained. "I, Raej led my troops against the forts that guarded the harbor. They could have been quite formidable had they been prepared for the attack. It would have taken quite some time to penetrate their walls. However, the forts were under manned and caught off guard. The defenders were nonetheless able to put up a decent fight once they got organized. By then our victory over their forts was assured however. Considering my troops were originally assigned to capture the town itself, that part of the operation went well"
