Hidden in the Sculptures Thursday May 14th, 4646 at 7:34 PM in Nocturnia Lying on a sturdy bed alone in a bedroom cluttered with clothing and old books, Zedria sat up with a blank stare out the window. Her throat felt raw from coughing up blood earlier. She shivered, looking around. "Cold..." she whimpered. She stood up and walked slowly to the door, which was opened slightly. She peeked out, then went into the den. She threw a sheet over herself, then walked outside, clinging to the sheet. "Feels like winter out here..." she thought. Looking down from the mountainside hut she emerged from, Zedria looked to the Nocturnian city below. She then started weakly walking down the path toward the town, looking around.

"I'm going now," Frila announced as she bolted out the door of the temple and headed up to the mountains. "He he, all those wild berries should be ripe now," she said to herself. "I'll pick a lot, then I can have wild berry ice cream!" Frila started skipping along the path singing "Wild berry ice cream, wild berry ice cream..."

Zedria slowed her foot speed down even more. "Where am I... how did I end up in a place like this... I'm so cold, I'm hungry, I'm tired..." she thought to herself, realizing how dependent she was to her family. She though more and more about how many attacks she'll have to endure without her medication.
She wandered off the path into a thick grassy area with berry patches strung about. She layed down under the cover of the tall grass, covering her head and upper body up in the blanket, hoping that she could die before her illness makes her suffer much more. An image of Torga appeared in her head. "I'm sorry... I tried my best, but I don't think I can stay alive for you much longer..." she thought. She closed her eyes as they started tearing up.

Frila came skipping up to the berry patch, still singing to her self. She started picking some berries when she noticed a blond girl wrapped in a blanket laying in the grass nearby. "That's a funny place to sleep," Frila said as she walked over to the girl. "Hiya miss," she said. "Whatcha doing sleeping here?"

Zedria sat up, looking over at Frila as the blanket slipped off her head. "Waiting..." she said unenthusiastically.

"Oh?" Frila replied. "You don't look good. Are ya sick?" she asked. "Is it a cold? Ah I know, I can make some medicine for ya. There are lots of wild herbs that can be made into medicine around here."

"We won't know unless we try," Frila responded. She walked over to a nearby bush with different colored berries from the rest. "These berries aren't good to eat like the rest. They can make you sick. You can tell the difference cause these are yellow while the good ones are red or purple. But when you mix them with some herbs that grow up here they can make a really strong medicine." She picked some of the berries. "Now to get the herbs... Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you my name! I'm Frila. Nice to meet cha."

Frila gathered the herbs she needed and went back over to Zedria. "Ok," she said, "now I just have to mash them all up." Frila picked up a small stone. "Now then a flat rock..." She looked around, till she saw a large, flatish rock.
She walked over to it and put everything down beside it, taking the small stone and a jar she had brought to carry the berries in. "Now just need some water to wash the rock off" Frila went over to a nearby stream and rinsed off the small stone. She then filled the jar with water. She walked back to the flat rock and used about half of the water to rinse the rock off.
"Ok ready!" She exclaimed. Frila broke off small pieces of the herbs and put them on the flat rock and used the small stone the break them up even more. "You need to mash up the herbs then add the berries last," she explained.
