The group reentered the forest, walking into a darker portion.
"The trees are thicker around this area." Terka noted.
"Yeah, they're blocking out the sun." Kaori added. "There's no cow things around here either..."

"They're called cowgorians," Vira said. "They don't like areas with trees this thick. When they leave that clearing they'll probably go in the direction the trees are thinnest. They're probably avoiding the goblins as well. We'll be entering their territory soon."
"Those things look like they could come in handy to pull carts though," Yerth commented. "They must be pretty strong if they're that big."
"They aren't as tame as the kinds of cows you see on the farm," Megumi explained. "They're normally not aggressive, but if you try to tie one to a harness to pull a cart, they go crazy. There have been some attempts to train them and each time that happened."

"Cowey... goweys...?" Grega said with her finger on her chin, trying to pronounce what Vira said. "Hehehe, that's funny!"
"Grega, stay alert." Terka said.
The footsteps of the group rustled through the leaves, twigs, and shrubbery through the darkened forest. Grega marched along the front, saying "Coweygowey Coweygowey Coweygowey..." over and over in a low tone.

"It's hard to see with all these trees and bushes," Kazuki commented.
"Yes, which makes it harder for others to see us," Vira remarked. "We must make sure we stay in sight of each other though."
"What do we do if we do get seperated?" Kani asked.
"Well if you get seperated, you can head east to get to the main road and follow that to Tophiopolis," Megumi said. "Though I'm not sure where we could meet when we all got there."

"Coweygowey Coweygowey Coweygowey..." Grega chanted.
Kaori stopped, looking around. "Does anyone here that?"
Grega looked back, still walking. "Coweygowey...?"
"We probably should keep moving." Terka said, looking back to Kaori.

"That would be best," Vira said. "It's possible there are some goblins watching us. Or maybe some other monster. Everyone should remain on their guard."
"Right," Kazuki replied. He looked around cautiously and prepared himself to draw his sword at any moment.

"They're talking about us..." a voice echoes from in the bushes.
"W-what was that?" Kaori said.
"They can talk?" Tari added.
""They know we're here now!" another voice said, scolding the first.

"Just ignore them, but stay alert," Vira advised. "They're just watching us. If they were going to attack they would have done so by now."
"Are you sure that's ok?" Kazuki asked. "They might change their mind. We could try talking to them to be sure."

Rustles in the surrounding bushes followed the group as they made their way through.
"How far are we from the closest road?" Kaori asked nervously.

"We're still a bit away I think," Megumi said. "Do you need to rest?"
"I wouldn't recommend stopping here," Vira added. "We should continue on."
