Background: Born in Miyano City as a hybrid child of a Human and a member of the immortal Vampire-type of monster, Salori's body was immortal. He was unpopular in school and constantly bullied and shunned by other kids. This led him to drop out of school and later run away from home. He left Miyano city and subsequently went on a feeding spree, biting an changing random people from nearby villages. He discovered that with his powers, he is able to create his own race that was totally unique from the Human and Vampire races he spawned from.
A few years later, he and a handful of followers he had turned built the city of Lanoia, naming it after himself. Naturally, he became leader of the city. The race which he had created also became known as "Lanoian". After the city settled down, he then learned much from other mages, eventually earning the abilities of the Sorcerer class of mages. He performed various services for the townsfolk as the city grew and prospered. He then had a mansion built for himself. After it was finished, he held balls and banquets there every week, inviting everyone he could.
Years later, he stepped down as leader of the city, proposing that an election system be put into place. After that, Lanoia gained it's first mayor. Salori still held balls at his mansion, though less frequently. Around this time, Salori had settled down with his own family.
Unfortunately, Salori had noticed that he hasn't aged over the 60 years of his life. His age stood still as his family grew old and died. After his wife died in his arms, his bitterness as a child resurfaced. He left his mansion on a fit of murderous rage, killing many Lanoian townspeople. Afterward, with much regret to what he had done, he locked himself away in the basement of his mansion, never to come out again.
However, in 4514, two adventurers stumbled upon him as they were exploring his now millennia-old mansion. He awoke, as the adventurers explained that the city of Lanoia held no grudges against him other the years. Rather, they honored him and celebrated in his name. He also learned that his race also grew to encompass the majority of Western Salius. He then came out, as the public greeted him with open arms.
In 4523, Salori founded the Lanoian Magic Academy, an inexpensive institution where young Lanoian mages could go and learn magic. Salori then resumed holding balls in his mansion, though now only annually. Afterward, he set out to find the Vampires, the race his mother was from, so he could live with other immortals like himself. He came across his mother's mansion, in ruins with no one to be seen. Disappointed, he returned to Lanoia, where he helped the city expand and prosper.
A century later, in 4627, Salori met Nurva Larsh, a psychic that has fallen in love with him. Nurva later died giving birth to Salori's child. Afterward, Nurva's daughter, Sekra, was given to the Lanoian orphanage. As Salori's bitterness was so bad that it actually prevented him from loosing his mind again, he vowed on Nurva's grave that he would find a way to be mortal and live a normal life. He then began studying ways to become mortal, discovering new spells and remedies, but none that fit his situation.
