Kuzshi Emraldes
Alchemist
Alchemist
Species: Human
Sex: Female
Element: Wind
Birthday: October 18th, 4622
Personality: Kuzshi is very boyish and outgoing, yet vain to a fault. She creates drama wherever she goes, and can be very aggravating at times. As she dresses in manly attire, yet doesn't bother hiding her figure, she claims to be as handsome as most men she meets, yet more sexy than other women. However, deep down she has a good heart, and don't like seeing others taken advantage of.
Likes/Dislikes: Taken a liking to alchemy at a young age, she enjoys the mythology behind the art. She also loves crafts, and enjoys refitting stolen ships with her friends. Her favorite foods include sour macaroni and dried apples, and she likes the color green. She is also bisexual, as she enjoys company from her lover Kahlen as much as any man.
Background: Born to Hanell Emraldes, a wealthy shopkeeper in Nerosa, who already had three children when Kuzshi arrived, named Bethmor, Landou, and Jerova. Shortly after her second birthday, her sister Erashi was born. Hanell raised Kuzshi and Erashi as boys in fear of her daughters going through the same sexual assaults that she had to endure in the anarchist town.
As she grew, she saw her brothers fitting in at the shop, each as their mother's apprentices. In June of 4630 however, Kuzshi decided to work manual labor at various places, befriending other children her age, including Aliria Grainer. Kuzshi finally settled down at a job above town in a place called The Lighthouse, a refurbished tower where Nerosans frequently gather for parties and nightly orgies. She made decent money cleaning up after the various parties and gatherings held there.
As Kuzshi began puberty, Hanell encouraged her to be ashamed and hide her body to conceal her sex. However, in December of 4634, as an orgy was starting at The Lighthouse as Kuzshi cleaned up after a party, she was dragged in by a female member in assumption that Kuzshi was a boy. Kuzshi was found out to be a girl before being coerced into the orgy. After that incident, Kuzshi started participating in orgies there during her job.
A couple months afterward, Kuzshi found that she got pregnant from participating in the orgies. However, she was not deterred from her job. On September 5th, 4635, she finally gave birth to a girl, who she named Pora. As she got a leave from her job to raise Pora, she began to study alchemy at home. After she recovered from her childbirth, she also returned to attending orgies at The Lighthouse, though leaving behind her job there.
As Kuzshi gained skills in alchemy, a conversation with an alchemist in The Lighthouse led Kuzshi to a local alchemy seminar. She discovered her second pregnancy as she continued her pursuit of alchemy, and decided again to home-study quietly until her next child was born as she raised Pora. She then befriended a group of boys who frequented her mother's shop as her tomboyish personality strengthened.
In August 13th of 4636, Kuzshi gave birth to a half-Nocturnian boy naming him Enriss. She put her studies on hold, forced to raise two children as she still lived with her mother and siblings. With no source of income, she had to rely on her mother's business to get by. In early 4637, her three brothers left to join the crew of a trade ship for more profits as Kuzshi found that she was again pregnant. Business began dropping though, and Kuzshi's family's financial stability started to weaken.
Months later, in July 24th of 4637, Kuzshi gave birth to twin girls, naming them Danara and Darana. Not too long afterward, she was given an order to have an audience with the pirate king, Mulareo Hubrek. The king acknowledged her alchemic abilities, and told her that if she finds an infinite supply of gold, he would give her a position by his side as pirate queen. Kuzshi took the king's offer, making it her goal to please him, in hopes that this would make her family better off.
As Kuzshi intensified her studies while trying to raise her four children, she was allowed into the king's chambers, becoming one of his mistresses. She overheard many things from the pirate king, such as a group that has been attacking pirate ships outside of Nerosan waters. However, being the king's mistress led to Kuzshi becoming pregnant, though midway through her pregnancy from Mulareo, she miscarried. During this, Erashi took over the family shop for their mother, as well as tried helping Kuzshi raise her children.
Kuzshi continued as one of Mulareo's mistresses, and got pregnant again by him. When her pregnancy started becoming visible, she left Mulareo's chambers for a while. In March 27th, of 4639, Kuzshi gave birth to Mulareo's child, a half-Nocturnian boy she named Taka. Only a couple months later, in fear of disgrace from the pirate king, she went into hiding, leaving Taka with Erashi and the rest of her children and went into hiding on the other side of town, promising herself not to return until she found a way to create gold with her alchemy.
When in hiding on the streets of Nerosa, she met a young girl named Kahlen Warsaw, a thief, who lived alone with her older brother, Valakem. She was taken in by them and made friends with Valakem, while Kahlen became her lover. As she because closer to the two, Kahlen revealed a project she was working on, a boat she had stolen from a small crew of pirates that she was refitting into a thief ship. Kuzshi offered to help as they refitted the boat into a small cruiser ship. In July of 4641, the boat was finished, and the three immediately left Nerosa.
As the three started their venture, raiding less-inhabited shores with tricks other pirates don't have at their disposal, they started building funds and material stock. During the voyage, Kuzshi found herself pregnant yet again. In March 17th of 4642, after the three sailed around Euphica a few times, Kuzshi gave birth to who was apparently Valakem's son. Kuzshi named the child Celtin. With a child on board, things became a bit more difficult, but they managed with little to no harm. They went back to Nerosa a few times, disguised, as they traded and ate there.
In April 10th of 4643, as they sailed around, they came across a stray Pirrot that was following them. They confronted the Pirrot, named Nuwepe, who told them about it's friends in danger. They were directed toward an island as they found and aided a group of outcast Nerosans attempting to fight off a pirate crew the small group encountered. The pirates were overwhelmed with the help of Kahlen, Valakem, and Kuzshi, and were all killed by the teamup. As Kuzshi found out that the outcasts were the group that Mulareo was trying to hunt down, she organized a teamup between the outcasts and her friends. The outcasts introduced themselves as Fetaru Juran, their self-appointed leader, Peruka Ijor, an outgoing tech-savvy girl, Dainem Retram, an expert on firearms, Kanro Della, the greedy, yet overprotective doctor, Olati Della, and Kanro's young daughter who is a skilled cook.
The group stayed on the island as they refitted the captured pirate ship. January 27th of 4644 saw the launch of the thief ship, dubbed "Feral Wind" by Kahlen as she named her crew. Her brother became the Feral Wind's "Bridge", and she elected Kuzshi to be her First Mate, who became the Feral Wind's "Holly". Dainem became the Feral Wind's "Mark". Fetaru became her Boatswain and the Feral Wind's "Wing". Peruka became the Feral Wind's "Fall". Kanro became the Feral Wind's "Coin". And Olati became Feral Wind's "Toy". On January 30th, a mere three days after the launch of the Feral Wind, Kuzshi gave birth to a girl. She named the girl Fera, after the ship itself.
In November of the same year, Kuzshi temporarily took command for Kahlen as the captain gave birth to her first child. Now, Kuzshi is raising Kahlen's child Serusel, along with her own children, Celtin and Fera as Kahlen returned to command of the Feral Wind..
Abilities: As an alchemic practitioner, Kuzshi can transmute inanimate objects into other objects of the same mass. She also has limited medical healing abilities, such as reversing the effects of poison.
