Drandi got back to examining the menu. "Does anyone know if the grilled cheese comes with a salad?" she asked.
"You'll never believe it, Trinny!" Eltama exclaimed. "My cat had kittens! I didn't even know she was pregnant. I thought she was just getting fat."

"Why would it come with a salad?" Fedira responded.
"Oh, the gray one I saw the other day?" Trinta asked.
"ere you go." the butcher said.
"How much then...?" Miranda asked as she pecked on Trinta's shoulder.
"Yeah what..." Trinta said, trying to acknowledge Miranda, but still had full attention on Eltama.
"Eh, it just goes on Zac's tab." the butcher responded.

"So people don't have to order it separately," Drandi replied.
"Yup," Eltama said. "You should see her kittens. They are sooooo cuuuuute!"

Fedira glanced at the part of the menu that Drandi was looking at, now noticing the grilled cheese and salad combo meal. "...oh."
Miranda lifted the bag of meat across the counter with her left arm, still carrying the chicken in her right, then turned to Trinta. She dropped the bag of meat in the basket to get his attention.
Trinta then briefly turned to Miranda, then back to Eltama "Oh sorry, I gotta go." Trinta said.

"They should have a salad, that comes with another salad as a side dish," Kaili commented.
"Why not just make one bigger salad then?" Melimei asked.
"Ok then," Eltama said. "See ya next time. Oh, and you have to stop by one day and see the kittens."

"Hmmm... baked potato sounds good." Fedira said aloud to herself as she started ignoring the conversation between her friends.
At the entrance to the restaurant, Yukari walked in, wearing her favorite crimson dress as one of her maids held the door for her. She looked around at the tables where other customers were eating, then looked over to the kitchen in the back, seeing a few chefs prepare food. "I haven't been in one of these places in deca- in a long time..." she said to her maid. "I'm not really sure what to do."
"Will do!" Trinta said as he and Miranda walked away from the counter toward the door.
"See ya, Trinta!" Eltama's brother said, waving goodbye.
As Trinta and Miranda exited the deli, Miranda started carrying the chicken under her right arm as Trinta was adjusting the contents of the basket. "...'Trinny'?" Miranda teased.
"Oh hush." Trinta responded, smiling.

"Oooo Baked potato!" Kaili exclaimed. "I'll have that! Only instead of baked, I want it fried. And instead of a potato, I want chicken."
Sekra closed the door and then turned, holding her hands together in front of her. "I do not frequent these establishments either, mistress," she stated in a monotone voice. "However, I believe it is customary to announce one's presence to the attending host or hostess and indicate the number of persons in one's party. At which point one will be asked to wait until the establishment has available a table sufficient for the needs of one's party."

"Tell the watress when she comes back then, not me." Fedira said.
Yukari spotted a girl in an apron. "You don't mean the ones in those ugly aprons over there..." she said, then sighed. She then started walking toward the waitress as she was walking toward the kitchen.
"So what's next on the list?" Trinta asked Miranda as the two stopped in the middle of the busy marketplace.
"Corn, peas, carrots... looks like random vegetables now." Miranda said, scanning the list.
"Okay, that's no problem." Trinta said, then started walking back to his left where they came from.

"That isn't a baked potato at all then," Melimei sighed.
"I guess not," Kaili agreed.
Drandi continued to scan the menu, unable to decide.
"Mistress, I believe the waitress you have seen is not in charge of arranging seating, rather engaged in serving a party which has already been seated," Sekra explained.

Yukari stepped back, then looked back at Sekra. "Which one then?"
"Potatoes on there?" Trinta asked.
"Nope." Miranda responded, then pointed across the marketplace to the vegetable stand. "Looks like they have everything."
"Not that one." Trinta said, continuing to walk, prompting Miranda to catch up.
