"You should be," Mika said. "You probably haven't even read any, so you shouldn't judge."
"Well, I..." Melimei replied. She looked over at Trinta.
Juria walked over to the drawer with the knives and opened it. She took one out and walked over to a cabinet to get a cutting board. "Carrots first?" she asked.

"Mika, that's enough." Trinta said, walking over to the door.
"Where did I put the veggies..." Sairek thought out loud.

"Maybe I should go," Melimei said.

"Actually, I was about to take a walk before you came over." Trinta told Melimei. "Wanna join me?"

"Oh, sure," Melimei replied.
"I wanna go too," Mika said, raising her hand. "and you never told me what snack you wanted either."

Trinta sighed. "Mika, come here for a sec." he said, taking his sister's arm. "Excuse us." he said to Melimei.
He then walked out in the hallway with Mika, pulling her in her room. "Okay, what's this all about?"
Sairek wheeled over to the counter. "Sooo... any interesting deliveries lately?" he asked as he sorted the vegetables.

"W-What do you mean, Trinta?" Mika said, looking away. "I'm just trying to make sure you don't do anything you'd regret."
Juria took some vegetables from her brother and began to slice them. "Why yes," she said while cutting. "I had a very interesting delivery. I delivered a girl to her mother, whom she hadn't seen in 4 years."

"What WOULD I regret?" Trinta asked. "You're not even making any sense right now."
"Delivered a person...?" Sairek said, reaching for a bowl. "That's different."

"Well if I left the two of you alone, you... you might do 'that'!" Mika replied.
"Yes," Juria said with a smile. "It might have been unusual, but the look on their faces makes things like that worthwhile. Though in the right circumstances, even the most mundane letter can be a wonderful thing, sometimes unexpectedly. Not long before that I delivered a letter to a bandit leader informing him of his daughter's impending marriage. Even someone like that can be moved by the power of a letter."

"Might do what...?" Trinta asked, confused.
"It's wonderful that you can impact total stranger's lives in such a way." Sairek stated as he reached for the spice rack, picking a few jars from it. "A job others can only dream of."
He then started pouring a bit of each spice he had into the bowl, mixing them together. "Though... speaking of jobs..."
