As Dreva and Nalery walked down the sandstone steps to the dock, Nalery looked over to Dreva. "What's wrong, DreDre?"
Dreva scowled, folding her arms. "That nickname is really getting annoying." she said, then sighed as they stepped off the steps, walking on the sandy ground up to the dock. "I'm just worried about the prince."
"Do you know what's wrong with him?" Nalery asked. "Er... her? I'm not sure what to call the prince now..."
"I'm not sure." Dreva responded. "It could be anything. For the prince to call her meeting off like that, something must be wrong."
"Hmm... do you think she just might have forgotten something?" Nalery said.
"It can't be that." Dreva said, as they were walking toward a large Nocturnian battleship. "The prince isn't one to forget anything."
"I see..." Nalery said softly, as her eyes wandered off.
"No, it's something else..." Dreva said, sounding concerned. They stopped as they reached the ship as Dreva looked away in thought. "I have this feeling... that Auvian is still alive... he's a powerful mage, there's no telling how he could've evaded execution. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but... I just need to look out for her."
Dreva slowly turned toward Nalery, who had leaned in close, staring at her with bright eyes. Dreva backed up, blushing. "W-what?"
Nalery giggled. "You sound like a grownup sometimes."
Dreva scowled as she still blushed. "Y-you watch yourself! Subcaptain Juris!"
"Just an observation." Nalery said, smiling. "I'm glad you care so much for the prince. I really admire that."
Dreva closed her eyes in frustration. "Yeah, well... don't think you can say just anything like that."
Nalery looked up at the ship. "...say hi to Frila for me."
"Mhmm..." Dreva said, folding her arms again.
Nalery walked away quietly, up the ramp to the main deck.
